"Lesbian Request Denied" is the third episode of the first season of Orange Is the New Black. It is the third episode of the series overall. It premiered on July 11, 2013. It was written by Sian Heder and directed by Jodie Foster.
Synopsis
Targeted for romance by a fellow prisoner, Piper finds that subtlety is an ineffective approach to letting her new suitor down.
Plot

Present
Pornstache is walking by openly watching Piper Chapman trying to change her clothing. As he walks away, Piper asks Nicky Nichols if he is allowed to watch them like that. Nicky replies, "He does whatever he wants. One of these days, you're going to have to change your panties, Chapman. That shit's got to be getting ripe". On the announcements, they announce that Dayanara Diaz has been assigned a room which causes confusion to Piper on why she has not been assigned. Miss Rosa, Anita DeMarco, and Nicky explain to Daya that she will most likely be assigned to Spanish Harlem, and that Piper will be assigned to the Suburbs, with the other white people.
Piper then walks to the bathroom and notices a long line but walks past it. Leanne Taylor proclaims that Piper better not be cutting, and Red tells her to go ahead and pee. Piper notices Sophia Burset peeing in a stall without a door, and apologizes. She then waits for the bathroom with a door but Sophia tells her that "You're going to be waiting a long time now" and that the inmate in there, Blanca Flores, talks to the devil.

Sophia Burset
A fireman is seen searching a destroyed building while taking pictures of the building's owner's personal information (assumingly credit card information and social security information). Another fireman comes in and says "Yo Burset, we're clearing out man." Later back in the firefighter's locker room, we see fireman Burset changing in a bathroom stall away from the other men. She takes off her clothes revealing her pink women's underwear.
