Neptune's Produce is the name of the grocer that supplies to Litchfield Penitentiary.
Information[]
Neptune's Produce was created by Ganya as a way of explaining how extra income is being made for their books. The idea came from Red, as she said "restaurants come and go, but not schools or hospitals, you get something big, something steady, then you're not out chasing bids" ("Moscow Mule").
After Red was sent to prison, Neptune's Produce started supplying groceries to Litchfield Penitentiary, as stated in Looks Blue, Tastes Red. Neptune was supplying contraband smuggled in the grocery boxes into the prison as a way of making extra money for Ganya and his mafia. As head of the kitchen, Red was able to collect the items to disperse among the inmates.
