Annie Valdez is an inmate at Litchfield Penitentiary introduced in Season Three. She is portrayed by Tanairi Vazquez
Personality[]
Valdez is seen as a inmate who is attracted to one of the guards and speaks openly to Lea. She is also interested in fictional reading when reading Suzanne's chronicle.She also enjoys eating the kosher meal, even though she is not Jewish.

Annie had a medium height, curly hair and a tanned skin. She is seen in prison uniform and nightwear at her appearances
Biography[]
Season Three[]
She was first seen talking to Lea Guerrera in the bathroom when she said that a guard had just returned, Dayanara overheard the conversation and thought it was John Bennett, but discovered that it was Charles Ford shortly after. ("Empathy is a Boner Killer")
Later she is seen in the suburbs, questioning Suzanne Warren about the completion of the new chapter of Time Hump Chronicles. ("Fear, and Other Smells")
She is also a part of a group of inmates questioning Suzanne Warren about the Time Hump Chronicles while eating in the cafetaria, which annoys Black Cindy, Taystee and Janae Watson. ("Where My Dreidel At").
Black Cindy later wrongly assumuses Valdez is Jewish because she has curly hair, but Valdez points out to her she is in fact Cuban, not Jewish. ("A Tittin' and a Hairin'").
Annie does not appear in subsequent seasons, and her fate is unknown after several events in Litchfield.
